Visual mock-up (VMU) is an important tool serving the following purposes included but not limited to:
* Review of overall visual effect of facade systems;
* Review of joints in & between systems;
* Review of details and make adjustment when necessary;
* Coordination with other trades such as lighting, electric devices, hardware, curtain & blind, interior design, and MEP etc;
* Review and sellect colors and/or coating that have impact on visual effect such as glass color, frit color & pattern, aluminium surface treatment & colo, harware, sealant, and gasket etc;
* Optimisation of systems design.
Performance mock up (PMU) is a process to practically verify performance of facade systems on the ground. Testing items include but are not limited to wind pressure resistance, water tightness, air tightness, thermal performance, acoustic performance, blast resistance, eathquake resistance, and lightening proof etc.
Our technical team is well familiar with AAMA NFRC, EU, CWCT, CNS, and AU/NZ standards and requirements for facade and fenestration systems. We work closely with top laboratories following rigorous procedures to make sure our systems are of highest quality standard.
