Aluminum & uPVC Co-extruded Glazing Systems

Aluminum & PVC-U co-extruded glazing systems are made from profiles that has a layer of micro-foamed closed-cell PVC-U material with a thickness of more than 4mm coated on the outside. A hard crust with a thickness of more than 0.5mm is formed on the aluminum surface.

  • As lower U-f value as 0.8W/m2k is easily obtainable with aluminum & PVC-U co-extruded profiles.
  • Aluminum reinforced multi-cavity profiles stay stronger structurally than average PVC or vinyl frames.
  • Profiles built with one layer of micro-foamed closed-cell PVC-U plus multi-cavity greatly enhance sound insulation as low as 35～42dB.
  • PVDF coating on the internal & external surface provide satisfactory weatherability up to 20 years.
